University of Louisville to Host Women Vets ROCK! Day On-Campus
Women Veterans ROCK! Midwest Regional Director, Robin S. Jones (USN RET), is pleased to announce a new partnership between Women Veterans ROCK! and the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
This year, Women Veterans ROCK! is celebrating five years of working with Women Veterans, Military Spouses and Girls in Military Families with the launch of its new signature program, “Women Veterans ROCK! Day on Campus.”
Midwest Region Director Jones said, “I have worked with the University of Louisville in the past, when I was the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs Women Veterans Coordinator, and I look forward to taking this relationship to the next level as the Women Veterans ROCK! Midwest Regional Director.”
As an official university partner, the University of Louisville’s Women’s Center will engage UofL’s Military and Veteran Students by hosting Women Veterans Rock Networking and Brown Bag events in the University of Louisville Student Activities Center.
The monthly series will kick off on Monday, March 30 at 11 a.m. and will include resources, information about military benefits and networking. The first 20 participants will receive a Brown Bag that includes gifts from vendors, resources, benefits information and Women Veterans ROCK! swag.
The Women Veterans ROCK! On Campus Series for the University of Louisville will take place on the following Mondays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in room W303A of the UofL Student Activities Center.

Last year, the University of Phoenix’s Louisville Campus was the proud sponsor and host of the Women Veterans ROCK! Midwest Retreat which engaged more than 100 participants. Robin Jones, is a creative and dynamic Director of the Women Veterans ROCK! Midwest Region which is currently headquartered in Louisville, KY. Robin’s leadership in connecting military women and military families to resources, networks, and opportunities excels many others in that region.
